Bob Wickersham (August 5, 1911 - April 21, 1962) was an animator on 'Mickey Mouse' and 'Donald Duck' shorts for Walt Disney in the 1930s. He also animated 'Bugs Bunny' cartoons for Warner Bros and worked for companies like Fleischer, Schlesinger and Columbia.

In the second half of the 1940s and early 1950s he was also doing comic book art. His art appeared mainly in ACG titles, for which he drew features like 'Daniel Spaniel', 'The Kilroys', 'Natch', 'Spencer Spook', 'Wacky Wolf' and 'Who-Dun-It'.

He also did funny animal stuff for Better Publications and drew 'Flippity and Flop' and 'Fox and the Crow' for National/DC and 'The Kellys' for Marvel/Atlas .

 

 

 

 

Bob WickershamBetween 1948 and 1954 he owned an animation studio that made commercials, and was a producer, director and character designer for Swift-Chaplin's Jolly Green Giant commercials.
